The over-arching difference in what I present here, and what many others have given us in the past, is one simple thing. We are to be participating members of the creative process. We participate in the plan of the Infinite. We are co-creators in the reality that flows around us. We are involved in the process.
It seems that most of the writers will either tell you that God exists outside of your personal experience and you can never be a part of what goes on around you. God answers prayers, or not, completely devoid of what you want or need or desire. If you are lucky, God may allow what he wants to coincide with what you want, but don’t count on it.
The opposite side will tell you that The Infinite, God, is there just to answer your every prayer/whim. You have only to speak your desire into the ether and it will instantly come to you. The Absolute becomes demoted to being the cosmic bell-boy.
The truth is neither, or both, of these, depending on how you want to look at it. The Infinite moves through the Universe, flows through the cosmos, and we are meant to join in that flow, jump into the stream of God and, because of our unique position, become integrally involved in what is going on.
The Seven Principles are meant to make this participation easier. They have been given many times over the centuries, using various words, but the simple truth of them is no less true today than it was in history. By following these simple Principles, we evolve into the people, the Images that we are meant to be.
