Ah, the first real snow of winter. How beautiful it looks now, but in another month or two, I will be ready to say good-bye to snow for another season. It doesn’t take long.

Yesterday, I spoke of outlets; things that allow your energy out into the world. If we do not use our outlets, our energy builds until it becomes toxic. Think of a stream that is always filled to its maximum with water. As the water flows, it erodes the bank a little and the stream becomes larger. What is the outlet for your energy? We all gather energy in our bodies, our minds, our spirits each and every day, every minute. It was recently said to me that in each of us there is this energy, but many of us have no outlet for it. To have no outlet means that this energy builds in us and, in time begins to sour, to fester and bring about bad feelings, in body, mind, and spirit.

Frustration can be, well. . .very frustrating. I am in the process of building a new website for the church and I cannot get part of it to work. Now I am not an HTML programmer by any means.
When frustration hits, I find that it works much better if I allow the Infinite to flow through me and not try to handle everything by myself. I still get a little frustrated, but things seem to work much better and I feel less stress when they don’t......

We begin another week. Many people find themselves unhappy at the concept of another week. It might be another week at a job that they hate or another week in a relationship that is not what they want.
I think it is funny that we think in terms of it being another week at all. I mean, if we are truly eternal beings then what matter is it that Monday has come around again? It makes no sense to stress over the fact that another day h.....

Despair seems to permeate much of the world. Even those who believe the current Presidential election in the US is going to fulfill their every dream have a level of despair. There are so many things causing us stress; the economy, wars, climate change, the fuel shortage, and so on.
What brings you out of despair? Perhaps it’s prayer, or maybe a stiff belt of your favorite beverage (I highly recommend the first over the last). To discover what brings y.....

When is the right time? Time for what, you might ask. The right time to do whatever it is you have always wanted to do. Maybe it’s right a novel or paint a picture. Maybe it’s to own a business of some sort or help other people in some way. You have put it off because the time just didn’t seem right.
What stops you? The time is right to begin whatever it is you want to do right now. No the time may not be.....

Will. Our will has much to do with who we are and what we accomplish. We are often encouraged to use our will power to do things in this life. America is a country that highly values a person’s willpower, even if it might not be all that admirable.
We have a new President, or will have in January. Some might say that Obama’s rise from middle class to Presidency has much to do with his will. He desired to do great things, worked to do them .....

What does it feel like to be at home in our own soul? What does it feel like to know our own spirit? Most of us have no idea what those concepts even mean. We have no time and little inclination to delve into ourselves to find our most intimate beings. The way is hard and fraught with danger. Who knows what we might discover about ourselves, who knows what we might find?

It is the most difficult thing to listen to the inner voice of guidance. To listen to the voice of the Divine that dwells within would seem easy except for the fact that most of us don’t do it. We make all sorts of excuses and then follow our own misguided way. My advice? Listen with all your heart at all times. Never let the opportunity to hear the Infinite go by.
