Do You Hate What You Do?

Do you love what you do; do what you love? There are lots of folks out there who hate every minute of the day. They hate their job, they hate their life. I can’t imagine living this way. Actually, I can.
It wasn’t that long ago that I hated every second I spent on my job. I wanted nothing more than to do something that I felt was worthwhile, worth my time. I wsn’t sure what that was, but I knew that what I was doing wasn’t it.
Can you relate to that? I finally decided one day that living that way was quite simply, stupid. I had long believed in what I call my seven principles. One of them says that you get from life in relation to what you put into it. I realized what I was putting into my days was a lot of grief and hatred for my life. I decided then and there that I would do everything in my power to start living my life with a positive attitude and start doing the things that I thought were important. What a difference!
The thing is, you don’t have to start your life all over. You can start right where you are. Hate your job? The next time you go to work, set the intention to have a good attitude about it. Find those things about your work that you can throw your whole self into. The rest of the time, look for opportunities to do something else with your life. When you start looking, things start to appear. Will it happen immediately? No! It takes some time, but it will happen. Put into your life all you have, no matter what it is. If you find yourself doing something half heartedly, either stop doing it or change you attitude. The choice is yours! Why live life in the dumps when you can live it on a mountain top? Walk the Path you want.
